Ebl or moates chip burning?
Hello,
I am trying to decide what is a better deal. I know the ebl has all the functions that are desirable to tuning ('ve learn, what's up display, etc) But I have 2 tbi vehicles that will need tuning. One is a L03 305 with 187 heads that I ported/blended the bowls on. Cam is stock, tbi mods done, installed larger undercut valves. And I also have a 350 with swirl ports , pretty much same done as the 305 but with a larger single pattern cam. I figured these will be pretty close to stock tune, just needing a little more fuel I probably could add via fuel pressure and some timing changes. Would the chip burning setup work just as well as the ebl given the stockish setups or would the ebl be leaving a lot on the table? Just hate to drop the $400 plus twice on two vehicles if it's not really going to net me anything. I do plan on getting a wide band to tune with also. Probably just use one and transfer from on vehicle to the next.
Lastly I know you all loathe the swirl ports but these are both heavy trucks and I kinds like the mpg and instant low end they provide. Plus they were cheap !
Thanks in advance!
