Hello, I'm in KY and I'm looking for either a 305 or 350 block. I have all the fun stuff (Pulleys, lifters, etc).

This is for a TPI based engine, 1986 Trans Am.

I'm also needing a good intake manifold (Can be stock manifold or aftermarket) broke a bolt changing my thermostat out, have it held in by a 3'' bolt and locknut. That required me to drill completely through the manifold, need a new one for the right price.

I also need a good set of cylinder heads, I think either my block or heads are warped or cracked. I also wish to find a good set of headers, I want to do away with manifolds as I have flowmasters on mine currently.

If you have any of these and are not close to KY I will need any of these parts shipped.

I will also be keeping this thread updated on if I need the block or heads, starting on stripping the motor tomorrow (as of Sunday 4/18).

I have all of those things.
A 305 and 355 block, 305 is a pullout running from an 87 tpi,
so its a roller long block, 355 is a short block that needs rings. Still has cross hatch marks on the bores. -12cc rebuilder pistons, stock rods, stock cam. Asking $100 for 355, 305 is free if ya wanna ship it. Ran when pulled.

good l98 083 heads just rebuilt and milled .01, no porting or valve work. Also have 305 tpi heads, still on motor, never rebuilt. Asking $250 for 083's, $100 for 305 heads.

heddman shorty headers for a third gen, asking $75

Complete tpi intake/whole tpi setup, as well as a Holley street warrior dual plane intake. Less than 1k miles on headers, heads and carb intake.
Asking 150 for tpi intake, with runners, upper plenum, dizzy cover, injectors, rail, egr..etc.

So the 305 block is good, no cracks or anything?
I believe my current one is, not sure. Will find out in a couple days.

And are the 305 heads in good shape as well, I will be interested in those as well.
I'm going to hold off on headers and intake for now until I get the coolant leak issue fixed.
Hoping it's just gaskets but who knows, haha.

Appreciate man, and what zip code are you in so I can add up shipping, and if possible, weight info would be nice, no big deal though. I think a 305 block is around 200 lbs. if I'm right :P

Yessir, it and the tpi were together, running like a champ in my 87. Only reason I pulled it is because she's getting a 5.3.
Same as the 355, I built it, was a Dumbass and forgot to put new rings on, so they crapped out after under 1k miles.

305 heads are in good shape. Never been off the motor from what I know. I think it has around 70k from what previous owner tells me, no way in hell it has 279k and still 140lbs per cyl/good oil pressure lol.

I have someone interested in the 305 locally, if he ends up picking it up soon, I'll let the 355 go for $50. As of now, its a complete motor minus accessories and intake. 355 is a semi short block.
