updating power windows with a better motor

so a person on another forum "fiero" has developed a jig to put a new motor to be used in place of our really slow power window motors.

It has the right number of teeth, AND coincidentally, it has the Fiero's connector too! It also has one less gear reduction, so the output gear is naturally faster. So the mirrors are this one (22155409) and its mirror image (22155408)

Anyone have a cnc machine to make some plates to make this work? no one can get ahold of the fiero guy. might work for you camaro / firebird owners too.

Would be cool if it could be made to work. I don't mind the slower windows, but the lack of oomph they provide is useless.

High capacity relays provide more oomf to the window motors. It was literally night and day when I first did a relay conversion a few years back. Now, I've added the express down feature so I don't have to hold the button down. I've done the same conversion on Gbody sunroof motors too-the glass dang near flies backward! I'll have to post a video of it!
