6.0 swap
i drive a 1986 sport coupe manual trans.
I have a sbc 4 bolt i was building, but saw a 6.0 vortec from a truck on CL.
My question is is the power gain worth around 800 bucks for the engine alone, and then 500 on a good tune?
i planned on making a pony car, just wanted something for red light demons. i hear about people swapping camaro 6.0s but never truck blocks, just wanted to know the hassle, the extra parts needed, and horsepower gains with a good tune.
