How To Post on ThirdGen.org
Welcome to ThirdGen.org, often referred to as TGO for short. ThirdGen.org is nearly a decade old, and as such, has a wealth of content relating to 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds. Because of this, it is likely that any question you may have has been already asked and answered by previous members.
Before submitting a New Thread, we encourage that you use ThirdGen.org's Search feature. You may be able to find a quicker answer to your question by finding material related to your question through the Search option, rather than posting the question and waiting for someone to respond to a new thread.
In the screen capture below, you will see the Search link. The Search link displays in the menu bar, which will appear in most webpages you visit inside ThirdGen.org's forums.
You can search ALL forums, or you can search specific forums. Searching specific forums will help reduce results that may not answer your question. Searching specific forums will help reduce the overwhelming results you may have to sort through. To search specific forums, you can either click on the Advanced link, as shown in the image above, or you can visit the specific forum and perform a search while viewing the specific forum, as shown below:
If you feel that your question is not covered, or you could not find the answers you were looking for, you can then post a New Thread. In order to do so, you must first select the most appropriate forum to post your New Thread in. It is important to select the most appropriate forum to post your New Thread in, in order to get the results you desire. When visiting ThirdGen.org's main index page, which lists all the forums, you will see descriptions to help define what topics are suited for that individual forum. Most forums will be self-explanatory.
Once you have found the most appropriate forum to post your question in, and you have entered the forum, you will see an icon near the upper left corner of the forum, as shown:
Click on the icon shown in the forum. This will allow you to create a New Thread.
When you start a New Thread, you will be presented with fields to fill out. The fields should be self-explanatory (title field, message field).

Once you are finished typing your message and you wish to publish it, click on the Submit New Thread button.
