hyd roller 1 piece blocks
I just need to be sure, were all hydraulic roller blocks 1 piece rear seal blocks? Also, what is the best way to tell if a block is a hydraulic roller, I can see the raised spots in the lifter valley that I'm assuming the spider screws into, also there are two tapped holes on either side of the front of the block that I'm assuming are for the cam retention plate. Is that what I should be looking for?
Also does anyone have a diagram or picture of how the rear seal goes on and all the components with it?

Re: hyd roller 1 piece blocks
One piece rear main came out in 86. The hyd roller came out in 87 for the cars. The trucks remained flat tappet until I Think 95 or so. So that means if it had 1 piece rear main it does not guarantee hyd roller. Most if not all the blocks post 87 should have the spots for the roller lifter retainer along with cam retainer but they may not be machined and threaded. If the pads in the lifter galley are machined and threaded then it is setup for hyd roller.
