Upgraded rocker arms loose?

Upgraded rocker arms loose?
I have a 305 1990 Camaro, currently fitting new head to it. The heads are alloy "113". They came with the studs for the rockers already in them, I got hold of some very cheap but great condition harland sharp 1.5:1 ratio roller rockers.
First time working on a SBC head and when placing them onto the studs they seems loose, like the stud
That holds them in is too small.
I'm assuming this isn't right and need to have studs to match the rockers?

Did you buy 7/16 stud rockers and own 3/8 studs?

Also note that those heads require either self-aligning rockers or real guide plates. The stock guide plates are only for factory assembly.

Two common stud/rocker sizes. 3/8" (stock) and 7/16" (aftermarket upgrade).. You can not mismatch the sizes. You you have a part # for the rocker arms?
