Wrong cylinder heads?

Hi
I have a 1986 350 engine I bought that came with Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, 70 cc camber and 170 cc intake runner length. Could be wrong on the runner length size.
It has the stock TPI.
Flat top TRW 10:1 pistons.
My question is:
Are the heads over kill for the intake?
I am using Hooker full length headers w/ 1 5/8" primaries.
Cam is a Lunati P/N 60101
Thanks

Yes, heads are overkill for the intake. but not to worry. They are not hurting anything. 60101 cam is 112 LSA, .454-468 I/E lift and 213/219 I/E duration at .050 for 1000 - 5500 RPM. That's right in the sweet spot of the stock TPI and you likely run out of air before 5500. Granted it will run better at higher RPMs with larger intake/runners, but likely at the sacrifice of low-end torque. Everything is a torque/HP/RPM balance. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yeah, what 84Elky said is spot-on. The fact that your heads are only a 170cc runner volume, you should be just fine. It'd be a different story if they were like the more common 195cc runner volume.
