Shipping a rear end?

My wife has the phone so I can't call hawks 3rd gen to ask so any one have an idea how much it cost to ship a rear end? I know it is different depending on were you live but any one have a ball park? I am looking at ordering a 10 bolt with drum brakes for the Camaro. If they have one I am going to get the 3.73 rear gears if not I am getting the 3.42 My car feels like I am taking off in 2nd gear. I see I can order with pay pall and am going to see of the wife will let me do it. It might be a no but I am going to beg her anywise.

Re: Shipping a rear end?

I've shipped rear ends from $150 to $300, depending on where it was going. They will probably add a crate fee.

Re: Shipping a rear end?

Don't have it right now anyways but it might be better to just rebuild the rear end my self cuz that was for a 26 spline rear. I don't know I might get a 4th gen rear and do some corvette 17s we will see were the project goes. Maybe I can find some one local with a rear out of a 5 speed car for cheep or a whole car with out a motor being I need a few parts for the interior and having a few extra things like body panels and glass would be nice.

Re: Shipping a rear end?

If you find a rear differential for your Camaro, please let me know. I get a good discount from Conway.
