T5 Swap Info
Okay. Im sure there is other threads on here about putting a T5 swap into a 350 tpi car. And I'm also sure that there is a lot of people that agree that it isnt the best idea lol MY question is, is it difficult to do? Ive found a W/C T5 donor car.The WHOLE COMPLETE CAR for 400 bucks. Couldnt pass it up because I'm going to be able to sell the ttops interior etc. and make more than what i paid. So i guess what I'm looking for is what kind of fabrication needs to be done? If there is a thread that tells this then a redirect would be greatly appreciated! I can't find it!

Re: T5 Swap Info
Been there done that. Cut a hole in tunnel and fire wall. I found it very straight forward as I had a complete donar car also. Having the donar takes the guess work out out of where and how big to cut openings. Go ahead and do it, it's a fun upgrade. That was 5 years ago and now I am going for 6 gears. With the T5 you don't beat on it, cause you know in the back of your mind that the trans can't hold up to abuse, but it sure put the fun back into the car after driving it 350/4spd auto for 12 years prior. Now I am bored again so I am swapping motor and trans.

Re: T5 Swap Info
Sweet! I didnt think it sounded too difficult. What about the firewall? Its just a hole for the clutch pedal right? Seems simple enough
