Home Made Twin Disc Clutch

Apparently the car decided it needed a twin disc, so it made one for itself (It used to be a Spec Stage 3+, which lasted for like 7yrs and untold abuse) ...

Here's the kicker, this was functioning normally, and not making any weird noises. Although there was ONE time I thought there was a strange vibration around 3500 RPM. Could've been this. Car was shifting as it always has. This was NOT the reason I took it apart.

It's kind of like the pick-six of the automotive world when you catch something like this BEFORE it goes bang. That would've made a mess. The only thing I can't figure out is how exactly it happened, it's not worn that much ... and where the hell are the rivets?!?!

Re: Home Made Twin Disc Clutch

That PP did a nice job keeping the twins in line. LOL.
Not bad life, all things considered.
