Upgrading Wheels and Tires.... C5Z
After much digging, I have decided on C5 Z06 wheels. 18" rear and 17" front, stock speedlines. These ones are used, and should be here by the end of the week. So half of the package has been chosen. Now for tires. I believe I am going to run Bridgestone Potenza RE760S in the front (265/40R17) due to good performance and price. The rears, on the other hand, I am undecided on. I will drive it almost every day in the spring/summer/fall. So I want them to last a decent amount. I also want to be able to cut good 60' times at the track. Like 1.5-1.6... is it possible on 18" wheels? What have you guys 60' on 18" wheels? What tire?

I know others will have other opinions, but why not go the same size wheel and tire in all 4 corners - either 17" or 18" instead of the staggered setup? both sizes will fit with the right spacers to accommodate 3rd gen BS.
Also, 265-40-17 is an oddball size - go for a 275-40-17 if you go the 17" route.

I debated that. I thought 18" would look too big on the front. Could be wrong since I have never seen these wheels on a thirdgen in person. Four 17's would be pretty tough to find it seems. The other issue with 17's on the rear is that they are 9.5" wide, limiting tire width some.
I will check out the 275's. The more options, the better.

Wheels should be here today or tomorrow!
I have seen pictures of Big_Mods... very good looking wheel/tire/suspension setup. I will have to email the frrax moderator. It won't let me register.
