GTA rim gold paint code was correct.

17" GTA centers came out a perfect match. Still need to polish the other three rings, put the 100 bolts back in, and get my custom centercap emblems in. And then I can wait for the car to get finished...

I thought I had the paint code around here.. I'll get it and reply back.. It's expensive, $96 for the quart needed.

Came out quite nice for being red before.

I'll get the paint code I used tomorrow. It's definitely a wheel only color.

These did come off a vette. They're epsilon 17"x9.5" in the corvette offset. Best I can find is they were made late 80's early 90's and are the closest thing in design to the GTA's that I've found.

They 'bullet hole' markings are where the 20 bolts go to hold the three pieces of rim together. They're gloss black with clear.

If I ever find a set I'm going to buy them. Always wanted them to be 17's instead of 16's. Plus having the fatter tires available in the 17" sizes...

Finished rims mounted. Gotta hit them again with more Mother's to take care of the greasy hands at the tire shop.

Still haven't seen the guy to get the paint code. Car's getting close to coming home too!

There's a set on the classifieds right now. 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. Guy wants $1000 bucks for them which really isn't a bad deal considering how much they probably cost new.

All I know is the are made by Epsilon or are called Epsilon by an unknown company. Made in Japan, and were a popular add on to C4 vettes in the late 80's or early 90's, usually matched to the color of the car.

Good luck,

Kevin D.

I'm just glad it's a pontiac, so I don't have to compete with you!

Paint got pushed back to tomorrow or Thursday, but it's coming together. Completely stripped down and built back up. I swear he primed and blocked at least 8 times.. Thenose went back together today and it's finally starting to look like a car again..

Yup, seems you have to turn at EVERY corner.. I ran into a bunch of trees but almost made it to the 8th green!

Got a complete GM front end, a RA1 hood, a used door GFX piece, and he was able to save everything else. Had it COMPLETELY stripped down to metal, got everything perfect and then started building it back up.

It's going back to the stock jade green color, rare and looks good. RA vents are the gold rim color, door handles/locks are black, and no door molding (maybe later).

As far as the blood, it appears that a 6'5" passenger will scalp himself on the convertible top latch in a wreck. Even though I'm getting new covers, the blood just wiped right up when it dried.

Good news is I'm picking her up tonight! I'll post some teaser pics tonight, but since I'm having to put everything but the nose back on the completed pics will have to wait.

The wheel company was/is called Epsilon. I never saw or heard of what those wheels were called, but they were on a ton of Vette's back in the early/mid 90's.
