I just sent the guy an E-mail asking him for proof of ownership, no reply as of yet. If you guys are familier with Ebay you should know that your taking a risk buying from someone with zero feedbacks.

While the pics ARE definately Kandied's car .....I will gaurantee the car aint for sale . I would give him a lil more credit than that , the person selling whatever the real car is obviously is not very educated .

The guy on eBay is from California, where as Kandied91Z is from Michigan...hmmm. I sent the guy a message too asking about the 350 "big block". How does he think this scam can work without having the car?

I am not very familiar with the protocol for selling stuff on ebay, but can't this guy be reported for trying to misrepresent an item?
Does any one know how to do this to prevent someone from getting ripped off? I know it would really suck if after saving money for a long time to get the camaro that I always wanted, some idiot like this ripped me off.

Just watch the auction and if someone bids, email them and inform them thats not the actual car.

Well, just to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, maybe his car looks exactly like yours, Kandied91z, and he just doensnt have any pics. But I agree that A.) its false advertisement, and B.) he should have asked for permission.

COME ON PEOPLE!

i dont think its right for his guy to use pictures of Kandied91z with out his consent. BUT!!! if the pics are not copyright protected then no law has been broken!

and if you take the time to read the auction NO where does it say that the picture of the car is the one forsale!!!

I don't know about the US... but in Canada you have to put a disclaimer on the ad if it's not an actual picture of the product. I would be pissed if I was expecting some chrome Z wheels and candy paint.... ending up with stupid stock aluminum wheels and faded factory paint.

wow. the nerve of this guy. has anyone reported this to ebay? they can pull the ad and keep anyone from getting scammed on this one.

i'm no lawyer, but i'm pretty sure that this would fall under false advertising which is illegal, and it also goes against ebay's selling policy. they're pretty strict about what you can and can't put in an auction when you're selling stuff.

kandied91z, we'll get 'em for ya! us tn boys will give 'em a good ol' tn whoopin'!

LOL, maybe his car is exactly the same........lol.....

You know what.....IF you win the auction you could sue this guy for selling something less.....

Keep in mind the picture shows the car comes with chrome Z rims, and a EXPENSIVE candy apple paint........

I don't see a disclaimer saying these products aren't included......
