2000 C5's on my 91 vert

Well here is a pic of the 2000 C5 wheels on my vert. They are 18" x 9.5" wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's 275 35 18's. The front I have 2 1/4" spacer and have 5/16 spacers to go onto the back with a 4th gen rear. This pic is from the Spring Auto Fair at Lowe's Motor Speedway. I will have more pics soon!

oh and my old wheels and tires are for sale, see post in classifieds!

well then your out of luck unless you pay for a custom grind there isn't anything wrong with using adapters. unless you just don't like the looks of the rim.

Topless91RS, what offset were those? not to shabby, i think tthey look nice on your car.

Looks great! I just have to say I love these wheels I just put them on my car a couple weeks ago too. I got 17" front and 18" rear combo.. And same Kumho's in the rear but 245/45/17 up front.. They are a great improvement over the factory wheels, and what I like even more is they are much easier to clean since theres no lines you gotta get into to clean beacuse they are just flat spokes. Only thing is I need stainless steel rotors mine are rusty but that will have to wait.. Will post pics here when I get new hood and paint which will hopefully be soon.

Spdfrk1990 You could always get a fourthgen rear, then you would only need spacers for the front.. There's no real problem with using spacers.. Throw em on and torque them properly and check em out every so often (few times a year even) just to be safe..

You'd most likely end up cheaper going with snypers. I'm not sure what other places charge for adapters but Skulte's are $149 / pair for what you'd need for vette wheels.

Been thinking about getting some of these wheels myself (either these or some tourqe thrust II's). Ive seen some wheel tire combos on ebay with those same tires, how do u like them and whats there tread life? also any rubbing problems with the 9.5's? and lastly anyone know of deals on them now? $650 is a much better price than ive seen anywhere else..they would have been on my car awhile ago if i knew i could get them for that..

running vette wheels isn't cheap especially when you go with a 18/18 combo.

the nice thing about the 17/18 is that tire prices are alot cheaper so if you can stand the difference in looks it's definately a money saver.

Kandied, they are 63 mm offset. Thanks for the compliment.

grngry, I got those on special, normally it would be about 1000 for 4 painted 18" x 9.5" rims. So not really cheaper when you look at it I just got a good price!

There isn't any bad rubbing, the strut is about a 1/4" away from the tire so it's close and the back is ok, I want to put the 5/16 spacer on just to flush the wheel with the outside of the wheel well like the front. 4th gen rears rock!! Oh and the fronts rub a little on the plastic inner fender on hard right hand turns but I am going to fix that with a heat gun.

The stock rotors just look really small compared to the rims. Going to be upgraded sometime soon!

do you have a head on shot of the wheel and brake setup.

my fronts are a 65mm and i'd like to see what difference a 63 with your adapter makes in the brake location.
