Probably not.... nobody in his/her right mind would spend money on that, when for the same price or less, you can get a 350.

Obviously, only GM would sell "new" ones; and they don't. Not because they "can't" or something, but because it makes no sense for them to do so, nobody would buy them.

What are you really asking?

Is this in a Cross-Fire car?

If so, you'd probably need the injectors and the knock out of a Vette with that motor (their version was a 350), and I think the computer and all that would remain the same.

Check these guys for CF stuff www.turbocity.com They're the last ones I know of still doing anything for that thing.

As far as the "total cost", I wouldn't have the vaguest idea. I've never paid anybody to do something like that for me, and don't plan to, so I'm completely the wrong person to speak to that. However, I can tell you, the cost to swap to a 350 would be within 5% of the cost to replace the 305 with another 305.... in fact, probably 5% lower.

Of course you can get a new 305!
http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/123/...ate-Engine.htm

With one-piece rear main seal, center-bolt valve covers, and center-two intake mount bolts at 72 degrees on each head. Oh, those nice swirl-port heads, of course.

Or;
Do what RB says...
