SLP CAD Picnic (after-post)

Since this was an ALL GEN event, and some of you showed interested ... but some didn't attend, you missed out. There was great food, great people and great prizes handed out. Some by SLP, some by AMA (?) Corvette (3 sets of dyno pulls, about 5 given out ). Jenibella won a $100 gift certificate from SLP Performance Parts and we got free shirts. We met some old friends there, Daniel Cervantes and Mike Leaf and a new friend Mr. Jon (Jon92GTA). It was a pleasure meeting you Jon, and very nice GTA you have. There were a few 3rd gens there as well, kind of hoped some more 3rd gens would have been there. A good time was had by those who attened.

Edit: Oh, and I saw a beautiful white Trans Am, but didn't know who's it was. If you are on here, nice car as well.

Transmission: yep, one through four
I had a great time, despite the rain. i was happy to see people interested in my 3rd gen Trans Am. Yeah, there should have been a bigger third gen turnout, maybe next time.

Car: 92 Trans Am - Sold
Yea, great event but we did come up short on 3rd gens. The rain likely scared many away, but we still had about 100 cars.
There were a lot of very clean and 4th gens with few engines that were sounding strong that really give me the itch for a LS1 and a 6 speed. I'd love to have a 12 sec car again.
Good to see the guys that did show up, nice meeting George & Jenn.
I was looking forword cruise but the darn rain spoiled that. Maybe we could plan our own cruise in that area.
Instead on the way back Manny and I got off the crowded 405 and cruised sunny Manhatten & Redondo beach.
