AutoMeter or AutoGauge Tachs....

Im planning to purchase an aftermarket tach...either an Autometer Tach or Auto Gauge Tach.....couldn't figure out why my stock tach died after installing the MSD. Followed the instructions, but no results. So I've decided to go aftermarket...Which tach is better...

I think sometimes you need to remove the tach filter or add a diod or something when using the stock tach. I would call MSD first.

Anyhoo, AutoMeters tachs are the best. They do cost though.

The one below set me back $250 bucks...

Autogage is made by Autometer, I've used both with no difference.

Autogage is just there way of selling a less expensive tach and still keeping the autometer name top of the line. Either way you'll be alright.
