No, they are making money off ignorance.

While more turbulent airflow after the fuel injectors and in the combustion chamber can atomize fuel better and make small gains in HP, that thing is just a useless restriction too far forward in the intake tract to help.

All they have to do is talk about "vortexes" and show a stupid animation so people won't question anything, and they assume it works.

There is massive money to be made in marketing things that ride completely on the idea that they sound like they would work.

Get a lid off a can of peaches, cut some slots in it, twist the sections at an angle, then throw it in the trash can. You've had the complete Vortex experience and saved yourself 30 bucks (with handling charges).

I spent $400 on mine at my local speed shop! Now Jeg's
has it for only $65! Shoot!

Although, I went from 19.29 to 19.28 in the 1/4 mile
and from 74.21 MPH to 75.23 MPH! It's in the MPH gain
that shows the TRUE HP gain! :lala: :hail:

( LOL, BTW...I AM JOKING!

You guessed it right! It's another item to waste
your money on and say " I think my MPG went up ever
since I installed the "Tornado"! :lala:

Ford also did it in the 2.3L 4 cylinders back in the 1980s to early
1990s called it " High Swirl Combustion" or HSC.

High performance Tempos rule! :lala:

The funny thing is, everyone who buys one says there MPG went up.

Do they add HP? I doubt it. Seems to increase fuel efficiency, however.

I highly doubt that the tornado can give you better gas
mileage! It's a gimmick! Just like every other "infomercial"
has to offer! Don't even bother wasting your money on
that! Save it for the more legit MPG and power enhancing
stuff, like a full tune up with all new parts! lol

Yeah, I would have to agree with all of the above replies. Its a joke. I dont think I would even put one in if it came free with anything. Just another way to entice people to get better gas mileage now that the prices are jacked up so much.

Engine: 305 tpi LB9
Transmission: 700r4 crazy beefed up one
Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
sounds like mind over matter///

ever notice the vehicle runs better when its clean

or there is more power with a fresh oil change

or that new polished part makes it all look better

when in reality its all just the same....
