centrifugal supercharger

I was considering putting a centrifugal supercharger on my 383 with 9.2:1 comp. I really only want to run mild boost around 6 psi or so. I really dont want to buy anything overkill and spend extra money for nothing. Only thing there are so many different manufacturers for superchargers im not sure what would be best for my application. Im hoping for opinions on different centrifugal superchargers and cover things like price, ease of installation and setting up, and how complete the kits are.

If your running 9.2:1 static compression your not going to be able to run much boost without some sort of intercooler or a cam thats going to bleed off some of that compression.

Wow because everyone I talked to and the info I got from the websites says I can run 6 psi easily with that compression even without an intercooler. Someone I talked to said hes running at 9:1 and 15lbs of boost w/intercooler. He suggested 6 psi would be easily done without an intercooler and hes running the pro-charger kit.

I think you would be perfectly fine on 6lbs+ on that compression especially with an intercooler...I bought my D1SC 3 core intercooler kit a year ago for around $3700 shipped, but I believe there is about to be a price increase on all/some of thier kits according to tbyrne motorsports.
