hey jey, let me know what you think of them, i was going to order sportlines but didnt want to spend 250 bucks right now. i had drop zones that made my rs sit low, im guessing these are similar to those but i want to put them on my 350 z

sweet, cant wait to see the pics, and i found a set of new sportlines for 195 shipped. might end up doing those

and i realized i called you Jey insted of Jay, my bad.

I'm leaning toards longtubes and sportlines and my 11" ZR1's for my 91 Z. clearance may be a problem, but i have the same setup on my ss, so i can handle it.

First, make sure you installed them right (had them installed)

Index correct?
Were your old springs worn badly?
Rubber isolators?

tenzo makes a decent "cheap" set of springs. i mean, for almost 1/3 the price... search under my name and tenzo, i have the spring rates posted.

EDIT : Tenzo rates (Tenzo R lowering springs)

WTF, 6"?! is your motor out? My new WS6 springs are only like 3-4 from tire to fender. Something doesnt seem right.

few things to think about. they might be 1.5 inch lowering springs but as was brought up before if you have worn springs you might end up with a car ride that is higher then before.

remember it isn't 1.5 inch drop from where your car sits now but rather from where it sat stock what 17 years ago?

I'm sure over this time your car has dropped more then 1.5 due to sagging springs.

keep in mind i have a good idea where the springs should be sitting stock. I am very aware where they should now and when they are sagging.i got sh-t springs. they are seated just right as well. As i have said before,it sits like a 4x4 truck in the front. And no,i haven`t got any response back from either company either about the springs
----------
and turbo i`m glad they worked for ya.

I just put in a set of springtech springs off of ebay. They handle great, fender sits about an inch off of the tire, and they were 145 shipped off of ebay.

Re: tenzo springs

I at first had the same problem with my sport lines...carefullyget your car up on jackstands, ...look up through the a arm into the k member ..i'm betting they're not seated all the way in the k member. I know you're saying "i'm not a ****ing idiot, they're seated right"..thats what I said too..then i looked, realized i was a ****ing idiot, reinstalled them, and have a nice drop to show for it.

Re: tenzo springs

good point mistakes happen, and you do have to take in consideration your factory springs are over 20 years old and if you had worn shocks obviously when you upgrade, your drop that you thought would be huge wont be quite as much

Re: tenzo springs

dug this thread up from long ago...i am building another camaro now, and they no longer sell these tenzo springs from what i can find on the internet, i ended up taking a full coil out front and back to get the car where i wanted it on my old one though.
