Forget about ordering a headliner, just go to local auto upholstery shop and get it done. No shipping and screwing around with the trim and installing and doing a half-a== job. This way you will have a factory look at about the same cost as ordering one.

What if your headliner is broke in half? Is that repairable, or should I just order a new one?

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
I had to buy mine on Ebay. It took like three weeks but that sucker is nice.
The only problem with it is that unlike the factory one that has clips in the middle toward the windshield, the ABS ones do not so they have a bit of a sage in the middle. What I did to fix that was to spray a crapload of spray adhesive on the inside and propped it up with a stick for around three days. Took the stick off and it's been that way ever since. No sagging.
Since they aren't factory, there is some gapping in some areas around the t-tops which does suck and any fix you try will only make it look ugly. It's the price you pay however for a permanent solution to that sagging factory headliners. Here is the link for Ebay if you want, http://myworld.ebay.com/www.1aautomotive.com.

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
I did the T-top conversion on my 95 Z28 and picked my headliner up at Hawksthirdgenparts.com When I get started on the interior of my IROC I'm going to get the Headliner/Visor/Sail Panel kit from them.
The one I got for my Z28 has the ABS Backing. If you can use the stocker, get it reupholstered. If you have to get a new one, get the ABS one. It'll never dry rot or fall apart.

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
http://stockinteriors.com makes a really nice one for our cars. The materials and quality are better then stock. I dreaded doing the install, but it only took me about an hour, and removing the required trim really wasn't that hard. I would recommend getting also getting the visors and quarter panels in the same color, so they all match exactly.

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
The sun visor hole is cut out of the ABS backing, but the fabric material is not cut, so if you don't want to use the sun visors, you can just leave the material as-is. The dome light and seat belt openings are the same way.
As for where to buy, since everybody sells the same product, your best bet is to order from whoever you feel most comfortable ordering from. There are places that can give you a great price, and others that can give you great service. If you look around hard enough, you might find a place that does both.

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
I got a new ABS headliner a while back from Hawks thirdgen, it fit perfect, was easy to install, matches the grey color and looks great. It comes folded in a box, so take it out immediately and let it straighten out before installing it. Great product, I cannot imagine why anyone would do anything else to replace their headliner

No doubt about it..... "Hawks". I had a real bad experience dealing with "F Body Motorsports", and it took months & months to get e refund. I bought one from "Hawks" & it arrived wit5hin days, the communications were excellent and it went in perfectly and is holding up to the sweltering heat of south Forida

Re: Who Makes the best headliner?
I have the "best" option for you.
Check this out:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...jim85iroc.html
When I order my ABS headliner in the next month...I will be going with IRace Motorsports.
http://www.iroczone.com/motorsports/
Why? Well...I don't know Jim...nor have I ever conversed with him (to the best of my knowledge).
But...
So far the reviews are good, the prices are competitive...and he seems like a decent guy. He is around on these boards quite a bit. Also, I am self-employed (full time) and can appreciate how important it is to give good customer service and be able to stick your neck out with a new business.
Oh yeah...and he was humble enough to provide free advice (see above) without hawking his own product.
HTH...
