RAM Powergrip T56 clutch - 98516HD - Anyone using this?
The T56 I bought came with a RAM Powergrip HD clutch, and through some um, negotiating, I got it basically for free. Does anyone run this particular clutch or have any experience with RAM clutches in general? I really like McLeod clutches, but if this RAM clutch is any good, I'll just use that.

Well, funny story about that....My engine decided to self-destruct shortly after I swapped in the T56 in so, I haven't really gotten a feel for it yet. The clutch still isn't even broken-in yet.

Well after a few thousand miles of use, I can safely say that my RAM clutch is finally broken in. I like it. I estimate my engine's making 380-400 at the crank and it holds the power just fine. It's pretty grabby though. Very much on/off with not a whole lot of in between. Maybe it's just the nature of the beast, but I think I'll be going back to McLeod when the RAM needs to be replaced.
