Alvin Clear Coat High Heat Automotive Spray Paint
Anyone use this paint from a spray can? Says 1200* heat protection without having to bake. The clear coat sounds perfect for rims. I'm going to try a can unless someone has had bad results.

Okay, Alvin paints never answered my emails so I forgot about them; however, at good old Walmart I eventually spotted a can of Rust-oleum Clear Engine Enamel (part number "248944 CLEAR" or bar code 0 20066 18658 6). The label says it's heat resistant to 500 degrees, is gas and oil resistant, and won't yellow. About $6 bucks.

Came in looking for a review of a new/unknown product...Left with half a review of the same old rustoleum rattle can crap that people buy over the counter.

Sounds like you're much farther down the road than me with clear coat type paints (any paint probably - lol!)... what paints do you recommend?
