What's your dizzy???

Hey all,

I have a 5.7 chevy 350 tpi and was wondering what kind of distributors people have.
My stock one was giving me trouble so I have an aftermarket reman from
advance auto parts.
It works but I want something a little better and I need some ideas.

Help???

I swapped out ECM's and am using F.A.S.T with the Dual Synch Distro

Re: What's your dizzy???

For the most part I am going to keep it stock.
Eventually I will put a better intake and headers on there but other than
that nothing major to "supe" it up.
How much extra was the ecm for that distibutor?

This is what I have

It's plug and play.

Although, I have a digital 6+ ignition box.

Re: What's your dizzy???

Mine was a little more expensive but necessary for what I needed at $1900 for the just the ecm without the Dizzy.. I wanted 16 injector control with internal datalogging though

Re: What's your dizzy???

if you swap dizzys be sure to swap the gear to the diz going in or you can go wit a poly gear and not worry bout it.

the shaft on your stock diz is .428 and most shafts are .490.

im running performance distributors DUI and like it fine. dosent hurt they are local and can custom curve the unit to your app.
