I have run them for years.... I like the 125 (Power shot) system because you see a good gain from it, the bottle will last a good 10 runs or more, and it is next to impossable to mess up your motor (if you have a 350) with it. I have run it on a bunch of cast piston 350's and never ever had one failure. I have put big shot silinoids on it, run it with the fuel silinoid disconected, don't have to mess with getting colder plugs or retarding the timing and no matter what I always get between a .7 to 1.0 second gain in the 1/8 mile. This is a great system for a beginer or someone that just wants a little extra boost and doesn't want to have to change there tune up to get it.
Now the Super Power shot system is a little different because it is an adjustable system from 50 - 175. Which is ok if you want to mess with changing the hp level for best performance.

------------------
82 Z28 with 350.motor has .030 forged flat top pistions other wise stock bottom end, Summit 214/224 cam with 1.6 Harland Sharp roller rockers, stock 882 heads for now (will be getting a set of the 23 degree Trick Flows this summer), Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 Vacuum secondary, Th350 with 2200 converter, stock 3.23 geared rearend for now (getting 9" later on), Headman shorty headers, custom 2.5" into 3.5" Y pipe into M.A.C. offroad pipe and M.A.C. cat back system. So far car has only been to the track twice and is having sever traction problems but is running 60'-2.34 1/8 mile-9.2 @ 79 MPH.

Okay, this is a very general question but please bare with me, how do you set up your motor for it? Colder plugs, as in stock AC Delco stuff or? and just how much do you retard your timing? I will have no computer stuff if that makes a differnce. BTW: this will be on a 305 for this summer unless I get unlazy. Are there bigger risks of blowing the think ski high then? Thanks!!

NOS systems are jetted very conservatively around 20% richer than what you need for max power, so you're very save with a powershot system without doing anything really.
Just don't use it when your engine is heatsoaked, and don't use it up into overdrive. And always use premium fuel when you're spraying to be safer.
have fun
