Whats the best spark plugs/wires??

I was just wondering if you could tell me what kind of spark plugs/wires you use or you think are the best. Or the best for my particular combo listed below. (vortec heads)

I personally use Accel shorty sparkplugs matching GM #s. Good for clearing headers. Never burnt a boot yet.

I have to agree with rockound, I just purchased a set of MSD 8.5 super conductors and a set of AC Delco rapidfires.

Vortec heads requier a longer thread on the plug than normal chev small block heads. I found this out the hard way. I forget the A/C delco pn#, do a search in general tech. If you just ask for 96 tahoe at the parts store, you'll get platinums.

NGK plugs are recommended when using a MSD ignition box. MSD strongly discourages the use of platinum plugs with their ignition products (you'll melt the platinum out of the plug and on to your pistons). I use NGK plugs, MSD 6a box, MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires, MSD BlasterGM coil, and MSD cap/rotor. This is a very nice ignition setup.

I mean that they stock plugs are platinums for those trucks, some of the guys at the parts stores are too dumb to understand that you don't have the stock car, and maybe don't want the stock parts. So make sure you get the PN# to give him before you go in there. At least thats how it was in my experience.
