don't buy from custom wheels market. their product is garbage and the warranty they offer is nearly useless because the cost it would take you to put the warranty to use is about the same cost as buying a new wheel.
the chrome is cheap and pits quickly. don't waste your money. i threw away 868 dollars.

Pictures of the wheels and their condition? Maybe a before and after as I am sure you took pictures as soon as you got them. Let us know, I would like to see if its the actual chrome or poor care to the wheel. As chrome needs high maintenance to keep nice.
Also, did you hit any potholes or curbs to maybe induce cracking..Let Us Know...thanks.
just for information because you wanted to know:
i take extremely good care of my car and wheels. i constantly wash them as well as using a non-abrasive wax. i only use abrasive chrome polish if needed. they are pits and not stains. i know the difference. also, no there are no cracks in the wheels. i don't understand why a crack (which there aren't any) would cause pitting.
pictures with a digital camera will not show what is wrong with the wheel. you won't be able to see how thin the chrome is and the pits. the chrome is almost translucent. i think that's the right word.
here's just a few pics of my car. you can judge whether or not i take care of it.
I purchased some C5 Z06 wheels in black from them. The shipping is kinda funky, but the wheels and their finish look good. I'll know if they fly apart at 135+.
i should have got the american racing version. they're a little more money and the center cap is different. but american racing is a huge company and you know their products are good.
I asked a question about chrome wheels and pitting....and this is what I got back. This was put onto a website for asking questions that can be answered by others.
"YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ACTUALLY WIPE DOWN THE WHEELS AND NOT JUST SPRAY THEM OFF WITH WATER AS THERE IS STILL A FILM OF DIRT THAT CAN REMAIN ON THE WHEELS.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF VARIABLES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO PITTED WHEELS, FOR EXAMPLE BRAKE DUST, SALT, DUST/ DIRT, ICE/SNOW MELTING CHEMICALS, WAX (CHROME WHEELS NEED TO BREATHE), NEVER WASH YOUR WHEELS WHILE THEY ARE STILL HOT FROM DRIVING AS THEY COULD WARP AND PIT, AND RUNNING THE WHEELS THROUGH THE WINTER IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY."
I dont know anything about chrome but by what this guy told me, its YOUR fault. Im not trying to be a ****, just letting you know and myself know, how a chrome wheel should be taken care of.
Thanks for making me want to know what pitting was.
i know where you are coming from, but the wheel company should specify what not to do with chrome wheels. and the whole thing about waxing the wheels, i only did that one which was right when i got them. other than that i only wash them with soap and water, and then dry them using a chamois. maybe it is my fault, but i learned all my techniques from my dad who has chrome wheels on his corvette which aren't pitted. i'm just saying. it could be my fault, but i am more convinced that it is the product.
Well i talked to a buddies buddy and he said EVERY chrome company will tell you its your fault, even though pitting is also a result of how its plated onto the wheel and what type of wheel it is, cast or what not. But he did tell me it could equally be both, you and the company. Its sucks they wont replace the wheel.
i never said that they won't replace the wheel. i'm saying that the cost to have the warranty put to use is the price of a new wheel. i have to demount the wheel, ship it from mass. to cali., then have it shipped from cali. to mass., and then have the wheel mounted and balanced all on my tab. i guess what i'm saying is their product is cheap and becauses of the warranty stipulations is basically useless in my case.
