UMI-Ryan

I know some have harsh words for UMI around here so I figured I'd chime in.

I bought the new STB from UMI for my GTA. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the part, the packaging, and directions that came with it. It was all up to par IMO. Unfortunately the STB didn't fit my car so I PM'd Ryan and he took care of me. He let me swap out the STB for some LCA's at no extra cost and provided a shipping label for me to ship back the STB.

Even though I was disappointed that I didnt get to use the STB (I really liked it) I thought Ryan and UMI went out of their way to make me happy and I appreciate that in today's world of crappy customer service.

Thanks again Ryan

Re: UMI-Ryan

My experience with UMI was much the same. All pleasure. Ryan is an A+ salesman and has a great company backing him up.

Re: UMI-Ryan

Thanks guys!

And Scot I do feel bad the STB's don't fit the Firebird hoods at this time... but soon we will change that for you!

Best Regards,
Ryan

Re: UMI-Ryan

Thought id chime in here. So far ive ordered STB and SFCs from UMI through Byunspeed.com. The shipping is really fast and the quality of UMIs stuff is amazing! Will get the SFCs welded on in winter when the IROC is in the shop.

Thanks again UMI!!!

Re: UMI-Ryan

I agree! Great service and great products. I have the non-adj torque arm, wonder bar, LCA, single adj panhard bar and weld-on SFC. A race car builder installed everything this past July. This is all he has done for the past 30 years. He stated that he has not seen this kind of quality in a long time. He was impressed. If you can impress him then you've done your job Ryan.

Keep up the good work UMI!!!

Re: UMI-Ryan

I bought my torque arm from them as well and couldn't be happier with how it installed. Even on my Moser 9" I had to real issues with it and the k-member was a perfect fit for my th350 conversion. Also, it got here faster than I thought it would too. Two thumbs up for these guys!!

Re: UMI-Ryan

Ryan is a good guy to deal with, very helpful and all ways get's back to you.
Recently ordered SFC'c, LCA relocation brackets and a wonderbar. The workmanship and finish on all parts is very well done, they over do it on the packing so even if the shippin co' beat the hell out the box, parts are fine.

Thums up for UMI !!

Re: UMI-Ryan

Ryan and his company, UMI Performance, have always provided top quality, well engineered parts to us and our customers. I would have a hard time recalling any issues with fitment or longevity or their stuff. Always on the ball with timely shipping as well.

We here at JS Performance are a proud distributor for UMI Performance Products!!
