Third Gen Resource
Just a note of my experience with Third Gen Resource and ordering parts from them.
I wish I had read the posts on this board before ordering but I guess it is to late for that now.
Ordered some IROC Z Center Caps from them on Friday 5 Jan via e-mail and paid via PayPal ($70.00 plus shipping)
Payment accepted by them on Jan 5 2002.
Still not received anything by Feb 7 2002 so sent a further e-mail enquiring about the Center Caps that day.
Received a reply from them on Feb 7 stating that "I will check on the Shipment for you"
Another week goes by and no information and still no Center Caps.
Sent another e-mail on Feb 14 with no response as yet.
I have been waiting 50 days now for 4 Center Caps and still haven't received the goods or any replies from them regarding when and if I am likely too.
They are fast enough to take your money first and, if you are really lucky, they might even ship your goods?
I have requested a full refund, or if they can manage it, a set of Center Caps via Priority Mail.
Watch This Space?
Their banner on this site looks very inviting and you would think that ordering from them should be something that can be done with confidence because they are advertising (endorsed?) by thirdgen.org.
Do yourself a favour and don't bother because they don't know what service & customer care is.

They are HORRIBLE with email. I don't know why they're even on the net, they never answer their email. Call them on the phone after like 12pm (cause even though they open earlier they aren't actually THERE...) You'll at least get to talk to someone most likely, unless they went to a car show or something and just left the lights on but no one home. Maybe they'll someday hire another employee and get their stuff done, but at this time they suck, and have sucked for several months. Hopefully they'll wake up one of these days and realize that the people on the internet are important customers too... Oh well I'll step down from my soapbox.
