HSR Commander 950 , zz383 map

Does anyone have a map for the GM performance zz383 (425) engine ?

I have installed the base map for a 383 with 36 lb/hr injectors. but he engine is running really bad.
so what i need is that someone may have tuned the zz383 with 36 lb/hr injectors and have a decent map for it ? just so it becomes enough stable so i can drive it to get it tuned...

any helt would be really appreciated... thanx

Pm'd you. For the record, 36lb/hr injectors are too big for 425hp.

Agreed. And if they are old injectors, you won't be able to command a stable pulse width low enough and you'll end up with an erratic idle.

36lbs injectors will support 460hp at only 80% duty cycle, at 43psi.

On a well built motor, tight quench, etc, 100 more..

I'd probably shoot for 30s run around 48-50 psi.

Even if the injectors are slightly oversized, you should still be able to get the driveability you want. If you are running a WBO2, just set the O2 compensation limits to +/- 50% and it should drive ok if the fuel map values aren't way off. Then, while driving at varying loads/rpms, adjust the fuel cell numbers until the closed loop compensation shows around 95% in the fuel map.

Re: HSR Commander 950 , zz383 map

I have 48# in my 383 and it idles pretty good. Pulse widths I believe at 2.1 or so which is acceptable from what I can tell. I went bigger because I was going to try e85, but with the subsidies gone on it, its almost not worth it anymore.
