need help with summer plans

this summer i want to take my car to shows, here is what i am thinking about doing.
1. Getting an abs headliner
2. shifter plate
3. z28 grille
4. ss hood
5. driver seat
6. seat belts
7. seatbelt latches
8. interior carpet is debatable, underneath my floor mats is stained
9. how about my power window buttons, mine dont have writing on them
10. regular 3 piece spoiler or the z28 spoiler the aero spoiler
11. finish my stereo system
I am having trouble deciding if i should do the carpet and window buttons tell me what u think. And what order I should do this stuff in. I am also going to get a paint job and do the cam, intake and headers.

I'd do your window button if you have everything else there. Cause' just to wire them up isn't a real big PITA.

Your car will look sweet with the aero wing and the SS hood.

save paint for the last thing.........this way you won't ruin it while doing mods.

are you talking about going to shows that are local in your area to hangout or to compete for money?

the biggest thing if your on a budget is to clean the car up. no one on that level will notice little details like the buttons but you. save them for last since it isn't necessary.

if your carpet is dirty and you can't afford a new set just take it out and power wash it...steam clean it if you have the resources and time.

go to local junkyards and pick up necessary interior pieces, usually it's extremely cheap for what you'll need and the more you'll frequent the better chance of eventually getting odds and ends for free from them.

biggest thing is to plan ahead and use your money wisely. try cleaning or repairing things yourself before you run out and spend money on something. as far as showing your car goes don't try and over do it or worry about what others have. work on your car at your pace and do what you like and be proud of it. i know when i started i had the same delemas....5 years and alot of time and money later and i'm still nowhere near done.

just remember to please yourself and good luck, the compliments will come later.
