I am partial to Pontiac I think due to the fact that my parents have a 72 LeMans with a 400 ci engine and Turbo 400 tranny. I love that banging of 2nd gear! I love the Judge's and Bandit T/A's also from back then. But just like the originator of this post, I got my car due to my love for the shows Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider. Since a 69 Charger is a tad impractical, I figured a 80's-90's T/A is definitely doable. So last year I got my black 91 GTA. It's nice to be driving a car that is somewhat rare. Where I live you don't see too many nice 3rd gen's around, especially GTA's. So it's definitely cool to get a on occasion when driving around town!

Well I was 13 when the third gens came out. I have always been a F-body fan. I always have to have one. When the third gens came out they were like nothing elese on the road. The looks were just stunning to me and the performance they had was just unheard of at the time. I really wanted one. Didn't care if it was a Trans Am or a Z28. I was 13 so it wasn't going to happen. Then in 86 the IROC's came out along with the new styling of the T/A with the revised rear spoiler and the ground effects. Man was I sold. I remember going to a showcase for new cars and sitting in a 86 Trans Am that was kind of a goldish color with tan interior with t-tops. I told my self that I have to get one of these. I couldn't sleep for weeks. I remember dropping car payments off for my dad's car(85 Tornado) and seeing the IROC's in the show room. Man they looked great. There was no way a 17 year old kid was going to be able to afford one of those, plus the insurance. Still they were awesome and I kept my hopes up. I had my 71 Camaro to keep me busy.

So forward a few years and I have some extra money and some of the earlier third gens are coming down in price. I look through the paper and spot an 83 Z for sale. The guy lives in the next town about 60 miles away and I go check it out. I took it for a drive and was hooked I had to have it. It sucked though because right after I bought it it started to snow really hard and the wipers didn't work. That was a long drive home. I ended up fixing the car piece by piece. It needed body work and interior work. It was this horrible color. The car was dark metalic brown with black on the gorund effects instead of the silver. Then it had a two tone gold stripe on it that ran from the front of the fender up the side of the window and over the roof to the other side. Like Strarski and Hutch. Yuk! I have never seen another car with that combo ever, yet it was stock. So time goes by for a few years and I get into a little money crunch. I couldn't afford to fix up both the 83 Z and the 71 Camaro had so I decided that the 83 was to go. I Could always get another one since they made a ton of them. So I sold it to the neighbor kid who had been bugging me for a year to sell it. I put alot of work into that car. I did miss it. I always loved how it felt on the highway.

So this past couple of months I got the bug again, but decided that I wanted a GTA. I really like the classy style they seem to give off that even the nicest 4th gens can't seem to match. Well in Alaska their aren't very many third gens for sale more or less a GTA. If I do find one up here then it is very trashed. So after some looking I scored one in Florida. Never seen cold weather. That was nice. It was all I wanted except for one thing. It was black with a 350 auto. Plus it was a hard top with analog guages. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the interior. I wanted black, but it had tan. Anyway I made a compromise and bought it. It was a One owner car and in very good shape. The price was average(not a steal), but liveable. I still had to fork out $2300 to ship here. OUCH! What can you do? The heart wants what it wants. So now I am awaiting the arrival of my new Trans Am. You younger people that get to buy these cars for your first car are pretty lucky. I wish I could have had one of these when I was 16. Now they are affordable and have a nice aftermarket to back them up. They are a great platform for performance.

I always loved gm cars out of the 8 cars ive owned 7 were a gm product. heres my list of owned cars youll see a pontiac trend and a fbody trend kind of.
81 firebird
83 grand prix
84 fiero
90 grand am
87 s15 sport truck
86 mr2
87 Irocz
92 sc2 saturn

The reason i always wanted a 3rd gen camaro was growing up my cusin and uncle they were sometimes fixing up 2nd gen camaros. When i was 16 my cusin bought a 82 fierbird and i had a 81 firebird.
Also looking thru the CHP mag i always seen the drawings of the 3rd gen camaros the guy would ususlly draw in the tips and tricks section. I loved how they looked and i always wanted to own one sence i seen thos drawings at my early teens. I also seen in a old scale model mag. where a guy built a drag version of a 3rd gen z28 and it was this cool plum crazy purple paint job and man i feel in love with that color so when i later accurerd my blue iroc and was ganna get it painted the color i wanted wasnt a hard choise.
you got to admit the 3rd gen has nice and very cool body lines. I also like that my car stands out of the crowd even 16yrs later.......id like to see how many other cars can do that.

Car: 1988 Pontiac Trans Am
Engine: 5.0L Fuel Injection
Transmission: Automatic 4speed /w OVerdrive
Ever since I saw knight rider when I was about 4 I wanted a TransAm. I sorta forgot about knight rider as I got older and when I went to get my first car I bought the tempo. One night I was channel surfing and boom knight rider was on TV. I started watching it and saw KITT. I then said to myself "must save coinage and get me a T/A for a summer runner". I saved about $7,000 thinking that if I wanted a TransAm that was basically a turnkey car I would end up paying a whack load of coin. I searched hi and low for a T/A that was in excelent shape, a V8, and a low amount of KM's. All the T/A's I looked at were rusted out or had gapping holes in the floors...basically stuff that made me sick. I found out that was real nice on the outside however it was 2.8L V6 which I wasn't too interested in.

Then one day my brother calls me on the phone. He was so anxious to tell me that he couldn't speak. He tells me that his friend is selling her 1988 Pontiac TransAm to get a car that is more suitable for a familly car. My brother then said that she is asking 6000 for it on Auto trader however I can have it for 3500 because she was friends with my brother. He used his digi cam and sent me some pics and I wanted that car right after that. At this point, I went to the bank, pulled 3500 out of my account, went to her house. I then checked out the car, no rust, V8, Paint is good except or spoiler, inside is clean, 134,000kms. Car was a dream come true. I pulled the wad of cash out of my pocket, she counted it, signed everythign over to me and handed me the ownership. I gave the hood 3 knocks, hopped in and brought my new T/A home. The three knocks thing was from 2 Fast 2 Furious when brian buys the Skyline...hehe I had to replicate it.

My dad **** himself when he came home to see the TransAm parked in the driveway. I still remember what he said. He flew in the house, down the stairs into my apt. I was playing Starwars Galaxies at the time. He was like "Who's car is that?" so I told him "mine". He paused for about 5 seconds and then asked "Where did you get it?", so I told him about the deal that my brother got for me. Then he paused and asked "Can I sit in it?". Brought him out and showed him the car in a better perspective and he agreed that it was a good buy. Soon this will be my knight rider, all in due time.

Thought I was gonna die of cancer after a faulty diagnosis at the hospital. Became real sad, thought my life was gonna end in a couple of months, and I hadn't even gotten me a car with a V8 yet, which had always been my dream. Won some money, bought the formula, sold the Harley, is now in the planning stages of a Dart smallblock 427, AFR headed and heavily nitroused beast. Since I thought I was gonna go real soon, I didn't plan for any money for the gearbox or any longevity aspects.. But I'm all well now though, thank ***! :-)

Best way to go out....at full throttle!

Well a few months ago, after having already been through 5 cars, i wanted a sports car so bad. i was tired of having crappy cars, so i started looking at my options. my vehicle then was an 88' F-150 ext cab, and when i was 16 i almost bought an 86' Sport Coupe, but it needed alot of work. then i looked up camaro's on autotrader, they were in my price range($1500-$2500), and had great looks. i only looked at rs's then because i knew i couldn't afford a Z28. well after months of looking on autotrader and around town, my girlfriend at the time found a nice 91' Z28 for sell when she went to the hospital. i called and went to look at it, and i had to have it. my parents were nice enough to loan me the extra $1000 i needed for it, and then i had. Now i love every bit of it, and prolly will never get rid of it. Plus my dad had a 76' Trans Am in high school and when i saw pictures of it that prolly also affected me some.

I also had a friend that had one and got to know how the car worked, so i fell in love with his car and how nice it was and then i got my own:lala:

I'm 19, and I grew up in a family of Subarus. Needless to say, I wasn't too interested in cars until I met my girlfriend. Her car was a hand-down '83 Z28 that needed a little body work but ran good. One day, someone did something stupid and ran into her, which led to the much-needed body work courtesy of his insurance.

So, by the time I met her, she had a pretty sweet ride. I kind of fell in love with it slowly. I realized that it must have some ***** since it had that trademark V8 rumble and I could feel every compression. Then one day I actually got to drive it. I was convinced by that point that it was pretty cool, so when she got a new Grand Am (she wanted something better suited for picking up groceries) I volunteered to adopt her Camaro. Since then I've just become more and more enamored with it and F-Bodies in general.

I grew up watching knight rider like most my age (21). but I think the real reason I bought one was my dad used to tell me stories about his cutlass 442's that he had when he was younger. and every time we would drive around and we would see a third gen camaro my dad would say "we should get one of those" and then he would tell another story about growing up when everybody had a muscle car. I guess the two just things just became linked and I had to get one when I finally had the opportunity.

I'm 19

My family is in love with Beretta's....That's what my first car was......I found this really sweet Beretta online for $1000, imaculate paint, tinting, new rims, sunroof, everything....So I told the guy on thursday I was gonna come down on saturday to buy it.....I live in central illinois and he lived in edwardsville, Indiana (4-5 hours away) So when I got there I called him to say I was in town and his wife tells me he sold the car friday night.....It was my fault for not calling first I guess....So me and my dad were 5 hours away from home and really bummed out....So we bought a bunch of papers and called about cars...I really wanted a third gen....I found a 91 305 with t-tops for $2000, but the woman wouldn't let me come look at it because she was showing it to another person....what a bitch....I found another that was in awesome condition for $1000 but it wouldn't shift above 2nd gear....great deal for someone in town....and while driving I saw this Red '89 RS sitting in someone's yard.....We stopped to check it out...119k good paint, a few dings and someone had keyed it a little....Brand new tires and nice aftermarket rims....the interior needed arm rests, headliner and a few little pieces...rebuilt transmission and the AC had been converted to the new freon(sp?) It has a V6...that sucks a little...but I've been wanting to build a v8 for a while...and they just dont fit in a beretta....This guy's bank had told him the car was worth 2,800....so $1,800 is as low as he would go....He sold it because he's to old to drive it...but assured my father chicks dig it....I hope so........

Why I love it?

I'm the original owner of my '84. In 1984 it was the nicest NEW car on the road(OK vettes are nicer but couldn't afford one). Drove it myself then turned it over to the two youngsters to drive to high school. Put away in 1991 for 8 years. In 1999 it was time to restore it to better than new condition. Ok it wasn't a "frame-off" but did spend plenty on refreshing the thing. Now I drive it on weekends. They had no guts as new cars (305's) but they could corner and as I say, looked great. Well worth bringing back to life with GM crate engine, wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, interior, and of course new paint. Now I give grand boys a ride in hopes they get hooked on cars too.

well ever since i was little i always loved american cars, i hated imports, even though there fun to run into poles, i would rather drive a 1978 regal then a brand new honda accord. i was driving a honda for a yr and half, i totaled her one day having a little to much fun in the snow, after parking a pole in her i was carless for 2 months, my parents really needed a car to get around and so did i, i found an 88 montecarlo ss which i didnt get because it was just to run downed, a week later i found a 90 firebird, curiousity led me to ask how much they wanted, when they said 1800 i had to call my pops to come take a look at her, a week later i took her home, and now she is mine . had her for about a month now. not bad for a 16 yr old

was in the mood to get a real car and had recently sold my Grand am and was looking for a new car. day after i sold my car i found my 1992 RS and said i had to buy it. drove it home the day after that. now its my baby and it sat in storage until march and now its out to play until it gets cold and snowy again. i love it because i can be driving around and little kids will be riding their bikes around and walking around and they will yell out "awsome car" and things to that effect. and it makes me feel all warm inside.

edit: was 16 when i bought her now im 17.

I grew up with these cars and I always liked the style of them. My dad had an 84 TA with the 305HO t-tops and everything when I was 7 years old and ever since I liked them. Then my brother bought a 89RS. When we moved from PR to PA my brother couldn't sell the RS so he kept the car. Then 2 years ago my dad told me a mecanic at a local pepboys was selling his daughter's 87GTA for $1000, when I got the money the guy already sold it to another employee on the same store . 5 months after the guy that bought the car from the mecanic told me he got bored of it and was selling it for $1400 ,so I bought it. Since that I have learned alot from reading on this site and what my dad have teached me through the years when he had the 84 TA.

...

Growing up with Knight Rider & wanting to be an air force pilot(the speed and having everything around you blur) did it for me.

I actually found my car on the way to my fiancee's cousins' 1 year birthday party right at the corner of where their street ended and I had to turn onto to get to their house.
Saw the "For Sale" sign and figured, "hey, may as well take a look at it, it'll probablly be much more than I can afford, but it's a sweet car to just look at!". Took a gander before the party, and the owner was home & came out and told me about the car, and I just somehow knew then that my first car would be this one!
So a week later after getting paid and getting all the paperwork done, it was mine!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!
:lala:
oh, and thats my story!

I was perusing a Hot Rod mag at the local Kroger when I flipped a page and saw a then brand new red 1982 Z28. I was about 21 years old at the time and I fell in love then and there. It was the first time in years that a manufacturer was bragging about a horsepower increase. However I was on a major Mopar trip at the time and lived in denial of my love for that red beauty. Didn't actually get one until 1990 when I bought my well cared for '87 Z28. It's blue not red, but I love it just the same.

I am 19 now and have an 89 Iroc L98. I love the car to death!!

I was into the tuner compact thing before fast n furious came out. I liked the fact that those cars were different and looked aggressive but thats all they had. They look somewhat fast but most are not. Parts are expensive, the cars were expensive, and they are front wheel drive. Now its all I see and hear. Thought there was bees or something flying around everywhere. Since that movie came out, those annoying cars are everywhere. I am not knocking them but most kids are not doing them right, or have the cash to keep them the way they are suppose to be. That is a tuner car which goes fast on little displacement.

My friend had a 4 banger S-10 and did a couple of burnouts in it. It was awesome-- smoke everywhere. I was hooked on rear drive cars.
I was looking at 3000gts and stealths, 300Zx's, and the like, but the turbo ones were out of my price range. I really got into old 60-70 muscle cars but they were old and expensive for nice ones. I wasn't capable of doing alot of car work and restoration.

Then I thought there had to be a affordable v-8 car that looked good. I love 4th gens but they were a little pricey. Out driving one day I saw a decent 3rd gen camaro and started doing some research. After finding this site and reading about them, I was hooked.

Thankyou thirdgen.org for getting me into the thirdgen scene. These cars look great, are affordable, and have performance platform to rival most any car out there.

To tell the truth i would have to say I wasn't really looking for a new car. As a 16 year old that had just gotten his driving license I was happy with my honda. Then my dad told me that a friend of his was selling a camaro. I saved up for it but when I went to go buy it she had sold it to someone else. I was heart broken. In about a month it was christmas morning when the morning festivities were finally over I went outside to enjoy the day. where lo and behold there was a not so shiny Camaro sitting outside. I was in love. It turned out my parents had bought it before I could. anyway my dad took me down to wal-mart's parking lot (which was empty) and showed me how a "real" car was driven. I was hooked. I've been working on it since then. Still haven't actually driven it though.

readers digest version!!! It was my first car-i didnt get it new but it had a straight body on it, inside was near perfect, no rust, just the name Camaro stands out even though its just a 3rdgen.
I like the Box (square) body they seem to have more leg room then the rest of the new cars i got into, except ive grown a few more inches now so...doing away with the rear seats . I figured if The I.R.O.C. (racing division) its good enough for them, then its good enough for me. plus i always like them. its not original anymore ive done more to it then i ever thought possible. i couldnt stand driving a V6 so w/ that said i own 4 V8's and the V6 is no more. I bought the car in 1999 and have been working on it since 2001.

Okay, not that anyone will even read this, because there is so many posts, but this is why:

Okay, I grew up wanting to race cars and show them off like most on this site in the late 80's early 90's as a teenager. I remember going to my first Metallica concert when I was 13 and seeing the local rock radio station out front of the arena with there almost new 1990 IROC bright red with tinted windows. Then and there I wanted to own a 3rd gen Camaro.

I turned 16 and started my dream of building camaro's for show and race. My first f-body was a 1986 Pontiac Firebird (V6, stock POS). I liked the interior looks and the sleak body style. I had that for about 3 months before all the problems it had forced me to sell it (at 16 you cannot afford to rebuild anything). Next I was "handed down" my brothers old POS 1973 Camaro. I built that some (about $800 worth of new stuff) and sold that as it needed a complete rebuiuld and I did not know much about cars to handle that at the time. So, next I got a 1970 1/2 Camaro for $2900 in really good condition (needed interior and that was about it, crap motor but it ran and looked good). After painting it yellow and new motor stuff, I again wanted something newer, so I sold that and bought a 1994 Pontiac Formula. I liked that car, however the "opti spark" went out and I just hated the LT1 after that, I missed the old HEI set up. So I traded that in on a dirty busted up 1992 Z289, 5.7TPI... My best 3rd gen to date. You all remember that, it was teal green, then I painted it yellow (I like yellow). I got that for about $4000 and when I was done it went from stock 1/4 mile times all dirty to a nice yellow, clean running a best of 12.70 in the rocky mountians (high evlevation) and sold that to afford to finish college for $7500!!!

After that, I bought a stock 1991 Firebird with the 5.0 TBI for a daily driver, painted it up, put a rebuilt 5.0 in it and then drove it for about 5 months before selling that. That brings me to my current car... the 1991 SS camaro!!!

3rd gens by far are the most affordable f-body on the market right now, and as you can see, now a days its popularity is growing and more and more people are buying them up and rebuilding them. These 3rd gens will be the next 60's camaros... Keep what you got, and if you got nothing, go out and get you a cheap 3rd gen and start building it as you will see in the next 3-5 years, these cars will not be as cheap to find, they will be the rebuild car of choice, as we all have already figured out!!!

young third gen love.

i got my license at 18 years old.. didnt get a car til almost my 19th bithday an 85 firebird coupe.. 130,000 miles 2.8 5 speed. blew the tranny.. sold the car with blow tranny for 1500.. found an 87 formula 350 for 1400 with 86000 miles.!!!! only needed a paint job..
my buddy had this trans am sitting behind his house for years.. i looked at it and to my avail it was original 88 GTa notchback.. leather , digital dash, t-tops and 350... it was my dream car.. then one night a stupid foreiner bitch decided not to use her headlights and t-boned me.. car was destroyed chassisbent rear end twisted/ bad.. sold the car complete to a guy near me for 1500 and sold the rear seats( special edition) for 200 bux...
all those cars were sweet but then i found a guy that sold me an 86 trans am with nothing but problems.. i but some visual work into it.. rust deletion, cowl hood tips hole patches.. etc..
now that damn thing wont even start..
i will always have love for the third gen. I really hate that kid that has my formula.. he got a killer deal. the kid i traded for the notchback sold him it for 600 bux!! i would have bought it back for that much

i owne a 92 camaro RS, i dont know what ever made me love the 3rd gen camaros so much but it prolly has something to do with me watching all the hot rods going down the road every tues. for the car show...i bought the car for $150 but it didnt have passenger window and no front end and crinckled hood... the car had sat some time before i found it something like 3 yrs i had saved my money from working with my dad and had around 400
i got the car for 150 then found out the car had no ignition key that was 80 from fradon lock .... the had to visit the local junkyard for the front end and hood... then we got in touch with the past owner who live right down the road from me.. WIERD HUH.. and he gave a the aero ground effect off it and the door lock keys i know have about 750 into it and im only 14 i got it when i was 13 i got to years to get it restored...ill have the badass car for my age

For me, while I grew up watching knight rider/dukes of hazard/smokey and the bandit etc, I never truly thought that much of american cars. Always thought they were slow and had poor handling compared with brittish sportscars.

However things changed when the historic touring car championship came to our local road racing circuit (shameless plug: www.knockhill.com) and just hearing the rumbles of the mix of late 60s mustangs, camaros and how they mixed it well with the eurpoean cars on the twists and turns of the circuit. At this point I knew I had to have an American muscle car, but at that point what I wanted was a 69-ish ford mustang, as I didn't rate that gen of camaro. But thing is that to get a decent 69 mustang costs far too much for me to take a risk on it over here. So I just dreamed.....The only option that I would rate alongside a this was a 3rd gen camaro iroc-z.

Then one day having seen my brother fire up his chevy 383 powered kitcar, I was looking on autotrader...... and there was this 1985 iroc-z with all of what I wanted in the way of options : 5 speed manual (autos are great in america but not here), 4 wheels discs, posi rear, and a 350ci, no air con (no need in Scotland!) and it was only £2,500 ($4,650) and 5 miles from here!

I knew from that moment that I would fall for this car, and there would be no looking back, and there hasn't been. One day I plan to take my car out racing at Knockhill and show the locals what these cars can do, and perhaps pass on my dream to more kids in Scotland.

Sorry for the long post,

Si.

ps. 26 and still acting irresponsible....

My mom has an 83 trans am and after that I fell in love with the body style of the Camaros and Firebirds of the 3rd gens. Really I just like any muscle car but really like the Camaros. I'm 17 and have a 1984 Camaro Berlinetta with a 350 and a 1987 Z28 T-Top car that needs a motor but is otherwise Mint.

i have a 81 and its sweet, wanted another car and i figured might as well be a collector car in a few years, so i thought "IROC!" they're decently cheap cars and can be very expensive when finished so...yeah

i just thought, everyone says the camaros are chick magnets, and we never see pics of chicks on the car or anything, so someone should make a thread where they post chicks with the car or whatever or tell stories of women running to their cars willing to pay money for a ride or something like that

my sister had one and i always loved it and she wrecked it when i was 14 and she bought a new car so my dad gave me the keys!!!!! i got a job and fixed it back up to its orignal condition and ive been driving it for 2 years now with no problem then my other sister car broke down so my dad bought her a nasty RS (i loved it anyways)but it was to small for her to fit her kids in so i got another one!!!! i was so happy! i drove it till the clutch cable and master cylender broke and that was just my excuse to restore it so its still not done but ive redone the interior, painted it and got a new engine but i dont have the money to fix the way i want it yet but i still drive my iroc!!

a kid at school had a black firebird coupe, piece of crap with the old carb'd 2.8 in it. all of you probably will laugh, but it ws the damned roof that had me sold. damn t tops were sweeet! i was looking for an OLD lotus esprit turbo (i was 15 at the time gimme a break lol), but i had to have one of those cars.

i went home and talked to my folks about it, and they said well u can start looking and then if you should find something we'll look with you. i looked at a white TA, with I think the 5.0 HO 305, and a new tranny, few dents, 78K mi, for like $1000. only reason i didn;t get it is because it was beat on HARD.

looked at an 87 IROC 350 TPI loaded with t tops; nice car, but needed almost $800 worth of new exhaust PLUS a sized rear caliper. man i wish i got that car; it was like $3500 or something. it had EVERYTHING even the rer end i wish i had now.

then i looked at a 1988 SC that had a TPI 305 from an 85 IROC put in. 83K original miles; less than 3K on new motor. it had "the roof!" and IROC rims, and a new maaco paint job (i didn;t do it! but it still looks pretty nice...), and pirellis all around. the guy said start it up, and i did. the sound of all 8 cylinders pushing exuast through that flowmaster..i was sold and my parents got it for me for christmas that year. i went for a test ride in it, and he floored it...oh man i needed new undies lol. and it handled great around the twisty turns of the newport waterfront.

so, after rebuilding the tranny and doing some heavy engine electrical work, plus some mods, man..i have so damned many memories in that car, i can't and won't sell it. as a matter of fact, my parents are bringing it out to me in three weeks i cant WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've bought three new cars in my life, and they've all been Camaros....the first two were 3rd Gens.

My '83 Z28 was my first new car, picked up about a month after my 21st birthday. It was a red, LG4/five speed hardtop with J65 brakes and the Lear/Siegler Conteur Custom Cloth interior. I almost slept in the car that night! The car was stolen in '86, recovered, and on January 17, 1988, I shot another turd trying to steal it again. I had that car until February 16, 1990 when I traded it in because I was spending more time under the car than driving it (my fault, not Chevy's....too many mods).

The last song I ever heard in that car was "The Flame" by Cheap Trick. When I hear that song now, it burns a hole in my soul and I can't think of anything else but my '83.

Damn, I loved/love that car......as great as the two LS1's are in my garage, I want my '83 back.

I got my thirdgen because I wanted cheap, reliable performance that I could maintain myself. So a smallblock was in order. Further, I disliked the Ford and Chrysler vehicles available, so I decided to go for a thirdgen. Superior performance, styling, easy to work on, perfect.

I am 18. As of six weeks ago.

Exactly a year ago today I got my 82 s/e for 500$ and have been hooked ever since. And to think the only reason I bought it was cuz the day before the tempo took a dump and my neighbor Robb was looking to sell it for a while and if my tempo didnt take a dump the car was destined for the yard he told me if I didnt buy it.So I guess Ford builds ****ty cars for a reason.
