Lowering my Formula- before & after photoshops!
Amazing the impact of the look of the car just by lowering it an inch or so!! I am lowering the car this winter and just wanted to see what it would look like.

well i wanted drag springs and i have them in the rear but alot of people say its too high, i have the prokit in front.
i might just put in the rear prokit and see what happens no time right now though.
hmm should i get some sportlines also

I've seen a bunch of cars with the sportlines and it sits even all the way around and the front wheels almost tuck into the fender.
I had Jamex Springs on my 86 T/A a couple of years ago,
it sat like this stock,
and with the Jamex springs

You should have kept those WS6 wheels on there dood.
I've been thinkin about using Sportlines since the last person called the formula a 4x4.
but if the *** is gonna stick up like that, I may just go with the prokit.

well i know why my car sits like that , its because i have aq chrysler 8 3/4 rear end in the car. Since the rear end axle tubes are bigger than stock it moved the spring perch up a little more, In that pic the springas have only been on for about a week or less. When i get the car out next year their might be a little more drop.As it sits now i took the insulators out and its riding on some tubing to lower it a little. It lowered it about an 1/8 inch . I might cut the spring next year to get it a little lower.
this is a before pic, without sprotlines and without the chrysler rear end.

Hey MdFormula350, if you ever sell the ProKit, let me know. I've got the Drag Launch springs now and do not like the drop. Plus i've got LTs so i have to watch how low i go. By the way, formula8, that is a drastic improvement!

It is quite a drop in the pic. I would not slam it that low.
I like the height that PHAT 89's car sits. Although, GTA/TA's look like they sit lower with less of a drop because of the ground effects than Formulas and Firebirds do.
I already have the pro-kit with some Koni Yellows lined up to go on this winter.
I will definitely post pics when it gets done!

the color on my car is deep blue metallic. got it done at earl sheibs. they did the crappiest job on it. its been repainted 3 times from them and it still look like crap, so im gonna get it done someplace else. Alot of my friends wants my car to sit lower but i like how the stance sit. Never have any problem with ground clearance. Here some pics of my wheel gap.

Thanks for those pics. Yeah, that is pretty much my color. I forget the color code, but it is a 2000 PPG color. Dark Blue Metallic. Its a sweet color, especially at night.
