F-Body Tim- its allready at paint, i got it the 19th and then took it for paint that day , i allready made my mind up , red like the car . i ddint have much time to decided b/c i wanted to have it done for a car show coming up at lebabon valley. which is may 30th. As for the rims , i was goin to buy some this year , but the tranny went. so a tranny came first. I was goin to buy boyd coddington smoothies in 17x9.5 all around. I think it would look sweet.

I didn't know you could post here without registering...?
In any case, it's about time someone posted here with a Mecham wing. I smell a cover-up though... who are you?!!

I can't figure out why everyone is so ape-sh-t in love with that wing because it's isn't all that appealing. I don't personally care if is one of a kind.. it's still not all that great looking.
Nice find anyways though. Hope you like it.. that's all that matters.

Car: 1989 TransAm GTA
Engine: One sweet modified 355 TPI.
Transmission: The kind that shifts....
If the wing were elongated so the sides reached as far forward as the stock aerospoiler then it would look much better.
It interferes with the lines of the car. Which is why people don't like it.
From an aerodynamic standpoint its very effective. Even more so than the stock aerospoiler on TA's.

I like the wing, it looks more aggressive than the pedestal (stock) style, and is way lighter and more effective than the factory wrap around style.

Maybe it'll look better painted to me. From the side it's okay. But from the rear It's not doing anything for me at all.
