Different size coolant reservoirs found on thirdgens
I am looking to replace my coolant reservoir / overflow tank with the smallest one possible and have noticed that there are 2 or 3 designs that came on thirdgens. There is a really big one, which is what I have, and there is a smaller one. Does anyone have the part number or know which year / car the smallest reservoir came on.

i think there were only 2 styles ( i could be wrong ) 82-87 with the pump in/on the wiper motor and 88-92 with the pump in the bottle. I personally did not care for the large bottles cluttering up my engine compartment, so i turned to a ford combo rad overflow/washer fluid bottle assembly.

I've only seen one size, which is the huge one like most of us have. I think anything else you may have seen is custom. Someone might be able to prove me wrong, but every j/y I go to has the huge coolant tanks.

Actually Ford trucks have the Coolant and the washer fluid in the same box, seperated of course, and is about the size of the battery.

Or you could relocate ur battery to the trunk/hatch and but the box where the battery use to be, and have an even cleaner engine bay, but in the end it is ur car so whatever floats ur boat bro.

Yea moving the battery to the back is on my to do list but I only would feel safe with a optima battery in an enclosure, so I will wait till my current battery dies for that.
