If you have the standard Firebird lights with the amber on the bottom corner, you will need to change the outer bulb connectors since the ones you have are too long, and just unplug the tiny bulbs.
this will make the lights work like this:
Drivers side: outer is the turn signal and will only light up with the turn signals and hazards. The two inner ones will be the running lights and brake lights.
alternativley, you can get another bulb socket with pigtail for one of the small lights, drill a small hole in the outer side where the turn signal light is so that the entire panel will light up with the parking lights. This is what I did with my 88 Formula when I had my Trans Am lights on it. I don't have the lights anymore so I can't show you what I did.

They lite up as stated above.
However, I got a extra set of reverse light pigtails from a '85-'90 Trans am, and wrapped the big '91 end pigtail in plastic and tirwraps, and ran the '87-'90 reverse light pigtails along side the now wrapped pigtails, and spliced them together with the special blue plastic clips that splice two wires together without and cutting of wires. I just pushed the '91 pigtails out of the way of the taillights.
I like how it looks/works!
Good luck with yours,
George

For the poster! Sure it will look good but something about putting TA lights on a Bird seems morally wrong....
