man isnt that nice!!!!!!
do you know of any afermarket dealers for the ground efx?? i see they are makeing the 2nd gen ones really affordable now!!
i basicly need the wheels hood and ground efx and ithink ill skip the wheels as i like the 16 i have on the car now,,, and im already looking localy for a hood. but the car should be going to paint next week so i could always add the ground efx later as i also need to find the fender and quater panel door stop moldings.
heres pics of the car that i took yesterday:

Nobody makes aftermarket GFX for the 82 Firebirds. I wouldn't call them GFX as they are just wheel flares.

They do make aftermarket ground effects for the 82-84... the front & rear, fiberglass.... more durable than the GM plastic....

I belive the color is Goldwing Metallic paint code 55, at least for '82. I'm pretty sure it was the same for 83 and 84.

Dupont Code B8208
source: www.performancecoatings.dupont.com
Others:
PPG: 3424
Sherwin Williams: 31982
Martin Senour: 30-5074
Inmont: 12672D
From the 1982 Firebird Shop manual.
There are actually 3 shades of gold for the '82 year. Don't confuse it with the Dark Goldwing Metallic code 67, Dupont B8215
There is also another shade of Goldwing Metallic code 55E, Dupont C8256.
and lastly Gold Metallic code 56, Dupont B8288. I believe this was for the Corvette.
Hope this helps.

at the site, click on "sitemap" in the top left corner.
Scroll down until you get to the "Color" heading and click on "Color Chip Library - Historical" To the left click on "Dupont Automotive Finishes" then at the bottom click on " Launch the DuPont Refinish Historical Color Chip Library" Then for car type I selected Domestic, GM. Then click on the year(s) you want to search. I tried to post a direct link but it would start me at the home page no matter what.
