How do my wheels look?
For comparison, here are the stock 245/45/16 on the left and my new 315/35/17 on the right.
And a few angle shots of the rears on my car.
I have nothing mounted on the front yet because I have nothing to bolt the wheels to lol. (still waiting on my spohn order)
Give me some feedback. thanks

THE WHEELS LOOK EXCELLENT BUT I DON'T LIKE THEM ON YOUR IROC. I THINK THE REASON I DON'T LIKE THE LOOK ON THE CAR IS BECAUSE IT'S COMPLETELY RED. MAYBE IF THE CAR WAS BLACK ANGLE PAINT JOB WITH THE TOP BEING RED AND THE BOTTOM BLACK, I MIGHT FEEL DIFFERENTLY.
ALSO REMEMBER THIS, I LIKE MY CARS STOCK AND IT'S RARE TO FIND SOME CUSTOM WORK DONE THAT I LIKE. DON'T HOLD IT AGAINST ME FOR BEING HONEST ABOUT MY OPINION.

Wheels look good, looks like they could go in another inch or so but im sure thats hard to do. Got any shots of the rear from a distance?

I am running 1.5" skulte spacers out back there, I think with some inner fender trimming I could cram it in another .5-1" but ill save that for another day. I don't have any shots from the back, the sun was shining right in the lens of my camera. I have fresh shocks and brand new springs out back that have never been driven on, so the gap should settle a bit. (stock springs to eibach red springs) The car is also due for a paint job before its driven again as well, that should help the look.

to each his own, I just don't like the flat face look of the rim. Those belong on corvettes and 4th gen camaro's and firebirds.
They are beautiful rims and tires. I just like a lot more lip sticking out.

I dont care much for black wheels(on anything even black cars) It just looks like the car is just running on one big black circle. I like the chrome/aluminum wheels.
Now comparing wheel design, I liked the other ones better, deeper wheels look better than flat wheels, IMO.
But dont go by my opinion, Im picky about things. Many other people like the black wheels too, so do what you think looks best. I guess what would look BETTER would be, if it was 2-toned, like U4TSAF2 said, with black on the bottom, or completely black. It would just help the appearance.

They rock.
You said you were getting paint. I recommend getting rid of the pin striping b/c of the black rims. If you keep the Iroc-z decals, make em black, not yellow-orange, adding that yellow-orange to the mix just makes too many colors. Painting the calipers red might help too.

Damn...that is awesome! I can't wait until I put 315's on my ride.
My only concern is that they stick outside the fender....if you can fix that, it will look bad a$$!!!!

I have 275's in the front 295's in the rear. Fat tires rule...
With those sizes what set of rims you think I have? (they are factory :P)

I'm with others...I don't like black rims myself, or the "flat" look of the 4th gen rims ot Vette wheels.
I have the crosslace wheels on my GTA, and it bugs me that 255 is the widest low-pro street tire available, for a 16" rim. I'd gladly get my rims widened if I could get wider tires.
I like the 315 fit though. They don't stick out past the top of the lip. I assume you are running a 4th vgen rear?

I do not know how wide firebird tires can go. Mine is flush with the quarter panel with 295's and I had to remove the rear bump stops to make the tire fit. So there may be some truth in the width difference between camaros and firebirds.
I am also running a fourth gen rear which makes the tires come out more and I still had to remove the bump stop from hitting the tire.

Those are some impressive meats you have there Traviz. I can't wait to see how the rest of your car looks and then I will give you an opinion on whether the wheels match the car or not. So on the size comparo I give you two

Hmmm I like them, very sharp, ALOT of meat. As big as they are they actually fit pretty well. Black rims though... can be hard to match a car up to black rims. I always thought White/Silver or Black looked best with black rims. Still very sharp, some dark tint, get rid of the decals and polish that car up!

those tires look small. lol looks great. like kairles said, it needs black stripes. What brand are the wheels, looks like o.e concepts because they have a tiny lip on the rears.

I think that the rim looks a bit small on your car. I love the width on those rims though.

Yes they are oe concept replicas. Like I said, New springs on are on, once they settle, I think the gap will dissapear and the rims will 'fit' better. I think with some massaging on the inside of the fender, I can tuck them even better! and this is a stock thirdgen 10 bolt rear with 1.5" skulte adapters.
