another re-finishing wheels question
Ok i know its asked all the time but.. my car is already up for storage and i am refinishing my rims. they are American racing outlaw series I. they are polished aluminum and they were pretty heavily scratched and oxidized. so i started by getting the worst off rim and using a heavy-duty brush on stripper and got the clear coat off, then wet sanded them down with some 1000 grit paper and got them nice and clean. now they are very shinny and look like new except you can see all the scratches form the sand paper. so i then wet sanded them with 2000 grit and it made it a little better but still can see them. i sanded all in one direction how do i get them to disappear?

Re: another re-finishing wheels question
Wow , If you sanded them to a 2000 grit and now polish them with white rouge on a buff wheel you will have an awesome shine. Then have em cleared and your good to go..
White rouge will work good. or use some Mothers if your only able to do em by hand.
