bumper / gfx prep
does anybody know what grit sandpaper would be to take the paint off of my bumpers and gfx? also i need to know what would be the best epoxy to use to repair my front lip because it has a small tear and a hole dragged out in the center of it. thank you for any answers.

Re: bumper / gfx prep
if you go to your auto parts store they should have a repair kit for bumpers.
if not ask.
if your on a budget then you can always take a useless flat tip screw driver and take the old style BIC pens and melt the case on the crack or hole and fill it in with the melted plastic.
as far as sanding the bumper. you just want to take the clear coat off the bumper and make sure its level . run your fingers throughout the bumper and you will feel little bumps. you want to take that off.
id start off with 800 grit on a DA sander. and after that id finish it off with 1000 grit to make the bumper as smooth as possible
