Need advice on repairing paint job
Hey, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I bought this car last year and while the interior is in good shape, the car needs a paint job badly. As you can see by this picture, there are hundreds of tiny white scratches all over the front of the car. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is any way to repair it, short of a new paint job. One thing I have noticed is the black spots in the middle of the scratches. They are blobs of vegetable oil. My dad is running a car on veggie oil and keeps cans of the stuff outside and the wind has blown a few spots of it onto my car, which seems to be reducing the white in the scratches. I don't know if its ok to have veggie oil on paint but it is hiding the scratches? Should I just use the oil? Any recommendations for waxes or something else that would hide the scratches?
