IROC spoiler vs RS spoiler

IROC spoiler vs RS spoiler
I dont know if my eyes play tricks on me... but it always seems like the IROC 3pc spoilers are somehow bigger than the RS 3 piece spoiler. This doesn't really make sense to me, but does anyone know for sure?
I wonder if moving the 3rd brake light had something to do with it.

Re: IROC spoiler vs RS spoiler
I have my original 1986 3 piece non third brake light spoiler, and a 3 piece third brake light spoiler I bought just recently, sitting up in my bedroom. ( I know, the best place to store spare parts. ) Then again, my garage is open 24/7 for my dog, and it'd be bad to have someone just walk out with what they want, and get a few bucks on eBay.
Anyway, back on topic! The third brake light 3 piece spoiler is thicker, wider, however you'd describe it. It also sits back a tad more than the non brake light 3 piece. The third brake light 3 piece is also a few ounces heavier, and they have different bolt patterns.
Either way, they're both better than this! Can you say R - I - C - E?
Don't mind me, I just had to do it, it's not often that there's a thread on spoilers.

Sorry I'm so late getting these pictures, but I just got my new camera yesterday. If you're still interested in seeing close up detail of the slight differences, here they are.

I can see it fine, and my light was on, but it is a lil' dim. Maybe the flash on my camera isn't working, or I just don't know how to work it.
Bear with me, I just got a new camera on Christmas, and I'm an idiot when it comes to technology. LOL.

The spoiler with the brake light is wider than the regular RS spoiler.

Re: IROC spoiler vs RS spoiler
Technically, the correct term would be "deeper", but I know what you meant.
It's only "wider" if you look at it from the side, but if you are going to think in those terms, the hood would be on the left side of the car, and the hatch would be on the right, or vice versa.
