just wondering so i could tow a race day trailer. mabe if it was hidden by a rear difuser? i really dont like the look of it but im trying to be practical. and it would double as rear recovery hook.

pickup and a trailer, i wouldn't want to race a car then worry about it bringing a trailer home if it broke

That would be ideal. But our plates are too high. And xpndbl3, what if someone went on pier tour and wanted to do Tue auto x events or just have spare parts? Just a thought

From the earlier link.... see, no one has to know...

Unfortunately not quite so easy with a Camaro.

How so? The inner structure under the bumper cover should be virtually identical. I bet it is the same metal bumper structure with only the plastic impact grid changed to fit behind the different bumper covers. And since the metal structure is a bolt-on piece...Unbolt it, build the tow bar & put the bumper cover back on.

You ever seen a 3rd gen with the bumper cover off? I just went and double checked my parts car that is apart to double check my memory before I opened my mouth.

Edit:License plate location......

Having a hidden receiver hitch on a third gen would be like a woman shaving her mustache.
