is there a tastefull way of adding a reciever hitch on a thirdgen?

just wondering so i could tow a race day trailer. mabe if it was hidden by a rear difuser? i really dont like the look of it but im trying to be practical. and it would double as rear recovery hook.

That would be ideal. But our plates are too high. And xpndbl3, what if someone went on pier tour and wanted to do Tue auto x events or just have spare parts? Just a thought

How so? The inner structure under the bumper cover should be virtually identical. I bet it is the same metal bumper structure with only the plastic impact grid changed to fit behind the different bumper covers. And since the metal structure is a bolt-on piece...Unbolt it, build the tow bar & put the bumper cover back on.

You ever seen a 3rd gen with the bumper cover off? I just went and double checked my parts car that is apart to double check my memory before I opened my mouth.
