dual fan motors 89 Iroc
Bought two cooling fan motors for my 89 Iroc the new motors seem like they pull more air...they are actually vibrating the bracket the fans are attached to... the fans are Continental PM 517 motors...know more air is good but concerned about the vibration...If you all have replaced stock cooling fan motors what brand...Thanks

Re: dual fan motors 89 Iroc
I think I'd look into reinforcing the brackets instead of nutting the fans.
Post some photos of what you've got.

It is all new from Hawks Motorsports top bottom mounting brackets, two fan mounting brackets, two fans and two motors plus hardware...it is a new reproduction dual fan kit...looks just like OEM...everything fits great looks great...fan motors pushing more cfm than stock a lot more...I will call Hawks after Memorial day...Thanks for any feedback...

My first thought was that you have a fan blade out of balance but it looks like you replaced the fan motors and not the blades. Something must be up with the motor(s.)
Hopefully Hawks will make this right for you.

Have the vibration fixed adjusted upper fan shroud...cut heater hose in 1 1/2 inch squares drilled bolt hole and installed on fan upper and lower mounting brackets to help vibration...it worked appreciate everyone's help...I did replace the blades also...
