L98 swap

I got a l98 motor swap into 67 GTO and I can't get it to crank up it starts up on ether but cuts off immediately the pressure stays one second and then I might leave it alone for a couple minutes and then injectors will be open in the fuel pressure would be lost and I just can't get it injectors to fire up close when they're supposed to any help

Re: L98 swap

First of all need more info.
1 Did you install the L98 engine with its original
harness, ecm and sensors?
2. What year and model was the L98 from?

L98 came out of 87 Corvette and 67 GTO is what I'm putting it in and I used all factory sensors and I also bought a painless wiring harness for 86threw89 for an early tpi harness 60102 is the part number

Is the gm ecm being used? Also probably be a good idea to have a gm 87 Corvette service manual that would provide wiring diagrams and diagnostic for the L98 electronics.

It won't crank, if it's VATS.

Install in older car without oem engine harness so he may have starter circuit directly to key switch?

if vats is disabled in the tuning it could be the accessory ecm turn on is wired incorrectly.but your rater the starter would be separate from a ecm harness.
