Excellent! I've always found the Hemming's Muscle Machines magazine to be well written. The writing in some other magazines/newpapers etc. drives me nuts.
Always good to see our cars getting some good press.

My August issue of HMM just arived today. Great T/A, pic's & article. One little thing on the photos that's a little pet- pev of mine. If the tires have White Letters on the outside showing... Clean them ! ! ! or turn them around.
RON U.S.M.C -- There is a PHOTO of YOUR IROC on page 90 ! ! ! ! It's part of the ' TECH : SWAP MEET for Cowl Induction Hoods ' article. CONGRATS RON.
On page 80... ' AUCTION ACTION ' there is a photo of a Third Gen GTA.
Also on page 83... Is a 1991 GTA that was up for auction, but did not sell with a Top Bid of $8,000.

Read the article yesterday. Good to see our 3rd gens getting more coverage. Seems like I am seeing more and more magazines with articles on them lately.
HMM must anitcipate getting some heat for publishing an article on a 305 because they actually wrote quite a bit about why they featured this car. I think it was good they took the focus off the engine and complimented the way the car handles and corners.
They should take a look at this forum and will see there are MANY fine examples of third gens they could feature in their magazine.

Stuart, NO disrespect intended.
However, the photos on pages.. 31, 32, 34 do show the words in white (dirty white) Goodyear Eagle.
You will most likely receive offers in the mail having to do with special framing options of your feature article. $$$
CONGRATS ! !

Ok guys, here's a secret. There's a company in Tampa that takes the original article and puts in on a board with a plaque stating your name, the magazine the car was in and the date. They sent me one and I didn't know they were not affiliated with Hemmings. The asking price was $299. Friends told me it was a once in a lifetime thing, so buy it. I told the company it was nice, but it was more than I wanted to spend. When all was done, I paid $150. I was told that they can't do anything with the board once it's created, so many people say they will just send it back and the company let's 'em have it for super cheap.
If they send you a board, do your best to get the price super low. I may have paid too much, but I thought it acceptable. I think it's a 24"x36" size.

That's a cool piece Scott.
I was having a hard time find this issue. Finally tracked some down, and will be going tomorrow morning to pick up a copy.

Thanks Stuart. I get to read a little of it anyway. Drove an hour away to a specialty shop to pick that issue up....they had 8 copies two days before....had sold out by the time I got there.

We will post the entire article in the History Forum next month. We have been asked in the past to wait until the issue isn't the current issue on the stands. Next month, they'll let us publish it the article here.
