Ideas for a big A$$ rear wing for my road race GTA
Hi guys,
I've been gone for quite sometime, but still alive and kicking
Just as the tittle says I am looking for ideas on a rear wing for my road race nothcback GTA. One of the problems I encounter when trying to decide what to do or install is that the custom made fiberglass Aero wing on my GTA is permanently joined to the fiberglass Hawks notchback, so placing something there is a bit of a challenge when asking for somthing that works but that also looks good.
I was planing on making a F40 style wing and fuse it together with the aero wing or maybe remove the center section of the tailights and make a custom center mount to hold the wing from there separately from the Aero wing.... any ideas???
Any suggestion is appreciated!

Here is a picture of my GTA with a F40 style "wing" drawn into the car, just wanted to see how it would look like.
Also a picture of my brother's Nissan Z31 turbo powered wide body RX7 in which I made the wing shown for him and was planing on maybe doing something similar on my GTA by removing the tailight center section.
Please help, suggestions are welcome!!!!

That has crossed my mind... but ahhhh, I hate to touch my Aero Wing!!!
Instead I will make two massive 1/2" thick aluminum waterjet cut brackets, beautifully and elegantly crafted that they will attach to piece that will replace the center section of the rear stop markers.
The piece will be exactly the same plastic original center section with the bird and everything but it will be made out metal and with two protruding tongues on each side just in the joint were they meet with eack side marker on each side. The waterjet aluminum brackets with go up following the contour of the Aero wing and up until the wing reaches roof height, those brackets will look massive and awesome, or at least I hope...
