Spray can touch-up

I want to find some touch-up paint in a spray can. I need to do some touch-up in the engine compartment and around the door hinges, so perfect color match and finish aren't necessary. Does anyone know where I can get some my color . It is "Bright Blue Metallic". I have found other colors, but not mine.

Find the paint code for your colour and goto a auto paint shop. They will be able to mix you some of the exact colour. The local shop near me even sells an aerosol sprayer that you can spray the paint with. A pint of the base, sprayer, thinner, mixing cup, funnels and clear coat cost me $75.

Thanks, but that was the option I was trying to avoid. $75 for a little touch-up paint? That's outrageous! I'm looking for a $5 can of spray paint. That Dupli-Color stuff you see everywhere doesn't come in my color. I was hoping someone knew of another product line that might.

If I end up going the "real" paint route, is there any way to make the leftover paint last for a long time? If I buy a pint, I'll use less than half, but will want to save the rest for several months, or more (maybe a year or two...).

No one makes the bright blue metallic in spray can (never did) or in touch-up bottles (not for years). If that is what you have to have, an automotive paint store is your only option. The price ends up at around $15 per can (each can holds much more than a store bought rattle can), but you have to purchase several at a time since they need to mix up at least a pint to quart of the actual paint, depending upon the store.
